SAP MOA SIGNING

To assure ICCT students with a quality on-the-job-training and skills development, ICCT Guidance and Career Placement Office together with the Student Affairs Office initiated a signing of Memorandum of Agreement together with SAP South East Asia held on March 1, 2013  at the ICCT Colleges Cainta Main Campus Board Room.

Mr. Val Constantine Co, ICCT Colleges’ Chief Communications Officer joined by VP Ana Liza Kho, Dean Marissa Valle of the College of Business and Dean Imelda Zapanta of the College of Computer Studies welcomed the representative of SAP SEA Philippines, Mr. Carmelo Villanueva. The said officers facilitated a discussion in which ICCT students were free to ask questions. Mr. Villanueva answered attentively that satisfied the young inquirers.

SAP SEA has grown from its humble roots in the late 1980’s to become one of the most successful companies operating in the region today. (Jay Paul Agonoy)

CAREER DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

Preparing the 1101 candidates for graduation, the ICCT Guidance and Career Placement Office held a Career Development Seminar on March 2013

The Guidance and Career Placement Office have been initiating ways of guiding ICCT students towards the real world’s competitiveness. Zenaida Nicolas, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, facilitated the said seminar with high hopes for fortunate careers for the soon to be graduates. (Joseph Breiz)  

1ST ENGINEERING NIGHT

ICCT Engineering department proved that they are not only about long mathematical equations, machineries and robotics. The ICCT Engineering Society initiated their first Engineering Night. Faculty members, side by side with the engineering students, danced to the beat of the Gangnam Style and other dance songs making the night more lively.

The event was highlighted with the performance from the Marines. The night was fired up with their own rendition of all-time favorite songs. Who would have thought that army personnel are also in to good music and indeed, sharing it with ICCT students was a jam!

IT WEEK 2013

The College of Computer Studies in cooperation with the ICCT MIS Department held the IT Week 2013, a weeklong celebration highlighted with seminars, competitions and exhibitions intended for IT students, on February 28 – March 2, 2013.

With its theme: “I.T. Breakthrough 3E’s: Explore, Experience and Execute”, the IT week celebration showcased true Information Technology education efficiency in which ICCT Colleges has been known for 20 years.

The last day of the celebration was marked with a seminar facilitated by guest speakers from Mozilla & Microsoft. The very insightful seminar ended with giving away souvenirs from Microsoft Corporation. (Joselito Tanghal)
